EVANSTON, IL – April 6, 2026 – Tails Together, a North Shore based no-kill animal shelter, is hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new Adoption & Training Center located at 2900 Central St in Evanston, IL.
Tails Together invites animal lovers across the community to attend their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 9am. This will be a great opportunity for community members to view the new space, learn about Tails Together’s rescue work, and meet currently adoptable animals.
Tails Together CEO and Co-Founder Kristina Rosinia said, “So much work and so much love has gone into the creation of this building. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of the community who contributed donations of supplies and items we needed. Everything from the front desk, the doors, the lockers, even the smallest details were gifted to us by our partners, donors, and neighboring businesses. Now that it’s finished, we get to fill it with adoptable dogs, cats, and bunnies, and send love back into the community with every rescue pet that completes a loving family.”
Tails Together was founded as a nonprofit organization in 2024, focusing on providing accessible training resources to keep pets in their homes and out of the shelter system. Then in 2025, Tails Together expanded to be an animal rescue, operating as a foster-based rescue until the opening of their physical location in April 2026.
Tails Together Co. strengthens Chicago’s animal welfare ecosystem by operating as both a rescue organization and a collaborative support partner—connecting animals, rescues, and communities to the resources, care, and education needed to save more lives.
