Nicki Perchik, author of The Adventures of Nana Z., has partnered with North Shore-based, no-kill animal rescue Tails Together to support their mission of rescuing animals in need.
The Adventures of Nana Z. is a humorous, fast-paced tween adventure series created by entrepreneur and author Nicki Perchik. Inspired by her own family and a desire to address declining literacy, rising screen dependency, and growing mental health challenges among tweens, the series encourages kids to rediscover the joy of reading while learning the value of kindness, curiosity, and giving back.
Perchik said, “I wrote The Adventures of Nana Z. to create the kind of story that can truly compete with screens—something funny, adventurous, and exciting enough to pull tweens back into the joy of reading. Partnering with Tails Together allows us to take that mission even further by giving kids and tweens real opportunities to help others and experience the positive impact of giving back.”
A portion of proceeds from every book sold directly supports local animal welfare nonprofit, Tails Together. In addition, Nicki is partnering with Tails Together on programs that introduce kids to volunteering and community service—helping young readers experience the powerful mental health benefits that come from helping others.
